TEACHER SPOTLIGHT! - MS. ANNA SPORE!

Ms. Anna Spore has been at TCCC for over a year now.  She teaches in the wild, fun toddler room.  TCCC is Anna's first job in childcare.  She has always had a love for children and thought she would give childcare a chance.  She loves that the children have such an innocence about the world.  She loves that they get so excited over something as simple as bubbles.  She loves using the bubble machine with the children as well as dancing with them.  Her and Timothy dance most afternoons and friends join them, it is too cute.  What could parents do to make her job easier?
Reinforcement! Reinforce topics we are learning and the rules.  It is helpful with toddlers if you also reinforce things like eating at the table, walking on their own, sharing, etc.  All the things we wish came easier to sweet wild toddlers.
If Anna was to move classes she thinks she would enjoy working with the 2 and 3 year olds.  Anna's sweet cousin Cassidy is in our two year old room!
Anna grew up in Nashville and attended St. Edward Catholic School and Father Ryan High School.  She then went on to get a degree from MTSU in concrete management production and sales with a minor in business administration.  Aren't we lucky we have her in childcare!
She has an older brother who she is very close with.  They did not always get along that well but as they have grown up they have become great friends and have a wonderful relationship.
Anna's favorite childhood toy was an old Barbie bus that she had at her grandmothers.  She remembers playing with it and says it was totally awesome!
Anna's favorite song is Shoop by Salt & Pepper.
Her favorite TV show is Parks & Rec. & Teen Witch.
Her celebrity crush is James Dean.
Her favorite food is Mac & Cheese.
Her favorite hobby is telling jokes.  She likes all jokes even the cheesey ones and she laughs at everything.
If Anna was not a teacher at TCCC and could do anything she would love to travel and volunteer with animals.
If she is having a bad day you can cheer her up with praise, offering help and giving her hugs.
