SPOTLIGHTING MS. LEIGH MANNING!
Ms. Leigh was born and raised in Nashville. She attended St. Edward School & Father Ryan High School as did Ms. Anna and Ms. Colleen. She then received her Associates Degree from Nashville State.
Leigh comes from a large Catholic family. She is very close to her mom, two sisters, brother, 2 brother in laws and her four nieces that range from 22 to 1. She makes many trips to Murfreesboro to spend time with her oldest nieces and many trips to Louisville to see the youngest little cuties.
Ms. Leigh recently got married to her husband Robert (who is a twin and served in the Army).
They have a furry child together Dakota.
When Leigh was a child she loved to play barbies and any kind of sports. She has been in childcare for over 8 years and all 8 years have been right here at TCCC. She got into childcare after being a nanny and realizing how much she enjoyed being with kids. She loves to let the children get messy with art project! She allows the children to be more independent and finds it very helpful when parents do the same. Leigh loves teaching the little ones but if she had to choose another age she would teach high school. If Leigh was not in childcare she would be a photographer.
When Ms. Leigh is having a bad day she looks to her sister Rachael to cheer her up. Rachel puts the best post about Leigh's adorable nieces on facebook. They always make Leigh laugh. She also enjoys being with family and friends as well as mudding and and fishing. Leigh loves Old Crow Medicine Show, she craves pickles and Mexican food, plays candy crush a little too much, loves to watch Parenthood, The Walking Dead and Orange is the New Black. Her celebrity crushes are Bradley Cooper and Alex Pettyfer.
TCCC is more than blessed to have Ms. Leigh Manning as part of the staff. She is creative, fun loving, silly and great to be around. We look forward to seeing the creative programs Leigh will be putting together for the kiddos at TCCC.

Miss Leigh is awesome! She definitely enjoys letting kids get messy, she was a messy kid. She would borrow my clothes and ALWAYS stain them with something...mustard, grass, lip gloss, or glitter paint just to name a few.
ReplyDeleteLeigh has been so blessed to find a career about which she is very passionate. She loves "her kids", their families, and her coworkers all of whom were very supportive during Robert's deployment.
TCCCCC (couldn't remember how many Cs to use) is very blessed to have such a passionate, dedicated teacher who truly loves the kids. Now that I have 2 of my own kids in daycare I can truly appreciate what a wonderful asset Leigh would be to any day care. The most important thing a working parent wants to know is that their child is safe And loved while they are apart, I can genuinely say that the parents of TCCC can rest assured that Miss Leigh loves your kids and Will always do what is right to provide them the best care possible while they are away from you. My girls and I sure wish Leigh lived in Louisville, so we could see her everyday. She's the best sister and aunt in the world.
