Teacher Spotlight! - Ms. Shelly!!

TCCC is lucky to have Ms. Shelly!

Ms. Shelly is one of our wonderful toddler teachers!

She has been in childcare for over 6 years and has been with TCCC for over two.  She did childcare out of her home before coming into the classroom.  She decided to go into childcare because she has a love and passion for children.  She loves that they are honest and their hearts are open.  She loves watching the children grow and is glad she can be a part of it.  Shelly's favorite thing to do with the children in her class is sing and dance.  They love it and the joy on their face is priceless.  She also loves to cuddle and read to them. 

 

Ms. Shelly loves her toddlers but if she had to move classrooms she would enjoy being with the infants.  Ms. Shelly helped out in the infant room when we needed someone to fill in and she was just as wonderful with the infants as she is with the toddlers.  She has a true skill and natural ability to work with children!

Ms. Shelly was in childcare long before she started childcare.  She has been married for 25 years to her husband Doug whom she has 3 children with.  We are lucky enough to know her oldest child, Ms. Adrianne who teaches in our infant class.  Ms. Shelly also has two sons- Sean and Brady.  Ms. Shelly is one of four children herself. She loves her family and is very close to them! She grew up in Nashville and attended Ezell- Harding, Apollo Antioch and Glencliff.

We are more than thankful to have Ms. Shelly on our team!  We thank her for all her hard work, love and dedication!
