TEACHER SPOTLIGHT!

Ms. Adrianna Mcclure!

TCCC is blessed to have Ms. Adrianne Mcclure.  Adrianne helps in most all of our classrooms during the middle of the week and she works with our littlest ones in the infant room all day on Mondays, Fridays and each evening.  She is the daughter of our fabulous toddler teacher Ms. Shelly.  

Adrianne grew up in Nashville and was home schooled.  She grew up with two brothers.  Her favorite childhood toy was barbies.  Her favorite movie is Alice in Wonderland and her favorite cereal is Honey Nut Cheerios.  

Adrianne has been at TCCC for a less than a year but you would never know it.  She has been babysitting since she was 14 was also a nanny for three years.  She is wonderful with the children especially the babies.  The babies, parents and co workers love her.  She enjoys doing art with the infants and playing on the floor with them.   She got into childcare because she loves and enjoys children.

If Adrianne had to work with another age group other than infants, she would want to work with the Pre School children because she is creative and would love to do art with them.  

What can parents do to make her job easier?  Bring concerns and suggestions to her attention.  She is very open to peoples thoughts and change.  She also thinks it would be helpful for parents to reinforce independence and redirection at home.  She believes that family quality time is very important for children.  If Adrianne is having a bad day she just needs a few deep breathes and a a little break.
