Ms. Shay Floyd!

Ms. Shay is one of our wonderful two year old teachers. Ms. Shay brings a fun loving attitude with her each and every day to TCCC. She makes the children in her class and the staff laugh and smile everyday. We sure are lucky to have her!!

Learn a little more about Ms. Shay:

Ms. Shay grew up and went to school in the small town of Eagleville, TN. She comes from a large family that she calls crazy, wild, fun, loving and Christian. She is very close to her family. Shay's favorite movie is, "Fried Green Tomatoes" and her favorite TV show is Duck Dynasty. Her favorite cereal is frosted flakes and her favorite type of food is Mexican food. Ms. Shay likes to play softball and loves teaching. If she was not a teacher she would be a farmer. She loves the country and is not a big fan of the big city.

Ms. Shay has been in childcare for 10 years and TCCC has been lucky enough to have her for 3 years. She got into childcare because she loves children and cannot see herself doing anything else. Cuddling with the kiddos in her class helps her if she is having a rough day. She also loves to dance with her class, it is one of her favorite things to do with the children. She loves teaching the twos and if she had to change classes she would like to teach three year olds. The one thing that parents can do to help make Shay's job a little easier would be to help their children learn self help skills. Let your child gain responsibility with age and try things for themselves.
